Who I am...

I am an experienced IT manager with a strong technical and business background. Focusing on the operational side I ensure technology is a key enabler and partner to the organization.

I have the experience and ability to understand the challenges faced when supporting remote employees and field stations. As a global manager I know that with today’s technology distance is no longer a barrier and that all employees should expect the same high level of IT support and service.

Properly aligning project portfolios with business needs, identifying shadow-IT and outlining performance targets are a first step in setting realistic financial expectations and achievable budgets. Adjusting internal teams, exploring opportunities with 3rd party managed service providers and investing in cloud technologies are effective ways to increase the value IT brings to the business without increasing costs.

IT can become paralyzed by a growing backlog of projects, attempting to maintain service levels while resources are being reduced. For IT to truly be effective the team must venture out from behind their keyboards to interact and understand the operational side of the business. My focus is to create and promote a highly functional governance model that ensures business stakeholders have a voice in setting IT priorities and delivery expectations.

I am a highly motivated leader, and my energy and creativity is always reflected in the teams with whom I work. I look forward to discussing your current challenges and how technology can be part of your competitive advantage.
